IGC hosted HE. Dr. Mansoor Al Hinai, Chairman of the Authority for Public Services Regulation, during a visit where key performance highlights of gas consumption in the power sector were reviewed, along with the latest operational developments, challenges, and opportunities within this vital sector.

The visit also included in-depth discussions on enhancing the efficiency of the sector and optimizing gas demand management, in addition to reviewing future plans aimed at balancing supply and demand and ensuring long-term sustainability.

Furthermore, the discussion highlighted IGC’s pivotal role in sustaining the gas sector by improving allocation efficiency and maximizing economic value, thereby supporting the broader energy ecosystem and reinforcing its reliability in the Sultanate of Oman.
